Advantages of silicone gaskets
Heat resistance: Silicone rubber gasket has much better heat resistance than ordinary rubber. It can be used almost forever at 150° without performance changes. It can be used continuously at 200° for 10,000 hours and can also be used at 350° for some time. Widely used in occasions requiring heat resistance, thermos bottle sealing rings, pressure cooker rings, and heat-resistant handles. Cold resistance: The temperature of ordinary rubber is -20°-30°, that is, silicone rubber still has good elasticity at -60°-70°. Some specially formulated silicone rubber can also withstand extremely low temperatures, such as low-temperature washers.
