PTFE Encapsulated Coated O-ring
PTFE Combining rubber’s elasticity and sealing with Teflon’s chemical resistance, it is composed of a silicone or
fluorine rubber inner core and a relatively thin Teflon FEP or Teflon PFA outer cover. This rubber Teflon sealing ring Has
excellent sealing performance. Rubber O-rings are easy to wear, chemically resistant, and gas-permeable. Pure Teflon O-rings have higher hardness and can resist compression but have poor elasticity.
Main advantages:
outstanding chemical resistance, suitable for almost all chemical media: excellent corrosion resistance, good compression resistance, good swelling resistance, high-temperature resistance, and a wide range of temperature applications.
Applicable temperature range:
Teflon FEP Shell: -60℃-205℃ can be used for a short time under 260℃ high temperature. Teflon PFA shell: -60℃-260℃ can be used for a short time under 300℃ high temperature.
Uses: pumps, valves, mechanical seals, filters, reaction vessels, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, pipeline flanges, gas compressors.
